EngineeringXpress just conducted its second nationwide sensitization and pre-training program for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, presenting EngineeringXpress APP: A Digital Ecosystem for engineering stakeholders and equipping NYSC Corps Members with top skills for safe, innovative, entrepreneurial, and sustainable development.
Dr. Uzor Onyia and his EngineeringXpress members concurrently engaged NYSC Corp Members at their orientation camps in Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna, Bauchi, Rivers, and Enugu states on Monday, September 9, 2024. The comprehensive program is part of their pilot phase which is focused on imparting essential skills, including top skills for Nigeria's safe, innovative, entrepreneurial, and sustainable development. During the first phase of the program in April and May 2024, over 12,000 corps members were engaged. This second outing, about similar numbers of NYSC members were reached on this second phase of the program which featured the presentation and signing-up on the EngineeringXpress APP, a digital ecosystem for inclusive engagement of engineering stakeholders for collaboration and continuous professional development. This innovative platform aims to bridge the skills gap and foster inclusive collaboration among engineering professionals.
